Pre-school dance classes are fun for both boys and girls of all abilities aged 3-5 (pre-school.) Children benefit from the structure of a class, social interaction, and the imaginative and physical activity.
From Junior Infants, children learn ballet basics with a continued emphasis on fun, imagination and expression. They progress through the RAD graded syllabus, from Pre-Primary to Primary, and develop their understanding of ballet technique with an emphasis on expression and enjoyment.
Grades 6-8, the ‘Higher Grades’, allow the students to further develop their classical vocabulary and make full use of their technique and performance skills. There is emphasis on dance quality and musicality, culminating with the Grade 8 performance award.
Modern Theatre dance is a rhythmic dance style which originated in America before travelling to the rest of the world. It is often seen on the stages of musical productions and is known for its theatrical qualities.
