Classes

 

Wicklow School of Dance offer classes to suit all ages and abilities from as young as 2 years old in our 'Dance With Me' class. Through structured lessons delivered in a fun learning environment, students are encouraged to develop their skills to the best of their ability. Please see our timetable here.  

 

Syllabi

The school provides weekly classes in ballet, and special workshops and intensives in alternative genres. Our ballet classes follow the internationally renowned Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. The syllabus challenges and inspires ballet students technically, artistically, musically and creatively with exercises that encourage critical thinking and physical fitness whilst also developing a sense of theatre, movement dynamics and musical interpretation. 

 

Examinations

Students have the opportunity to be entered for RAD Examinations and Class Awards.

Performances

The school gives students the opportunity to perform in full scale bi-annual shows, as well as small displays for parents throughout the year.

Private Coaching

One to one lessons with Miss Megan or Miss Beckie can be arranged for older students if they have any upcoming auditions or nearer to exam time. Please contact us to discuss availability and pricing.
